CSA Wayne's JUNIOR ROOTS program is designed for players looking to progress and make the step to team play in the future.

Combining a focus on individual technical development within our practice sessions during the week, and then providing the opportunity to learn the habits and movements relating to the game through 3v3/4v4 play, provides a fantastic foundation which will help enhance the future development.

Junior ROOTS is designed for young players that may just be starting out/ or are interested in enhancing that experience and preparing them for future Travel/Club Soccer participation. The program will add to the foundation that they already have with a focus on ball skills, small sided games, and most importantly, FUN! 

Here's what to expect:

• The focus is on individual player development, and the team(s) are NOT entered into a local league.
• Players participate for 8 weeks, with one 60 minute practice sessions per week. (Day/ Time varies per season due to field permits)
• Players will compete in mini-tournaments on Saturdays morning, with one 60 minute games format 3v3/4v4 sessions per week. (Locations, and times are TBD based on permits but will be between 9am and 1pm in Wayne NJ)
• Spring: Practices begin week of April 15th and run through mid June (Finish before schools out for summer). 
• Spring: Games begin week of April 20th and run through June 15th (Due to late Spring break, any make-ups will be on a Sunday: time/location TBD). 
• There are no Practice/Games Memorial day weekend from May 25th - May 27th.
• All JUNIOR ROOTS programs are led by dedicated, professional trainers/coaches from CSA Wayne.
• All JUNIOR ROOTS aim to be assisted by our leadership program participants/ volunteers to enhance the overall learning experience of the players.
• This entire program is based in Wayne NJ, at one of our turf or grass fields, there is no traveling involved. 
• All details, including game format will be finalized prior to week 1, once the number of participants is established)
• The cost of the program is $150 per player.
• There is a one-time uniform fee: $50 (if required)
• There is an annual NJYS Insurance Registration: $9.27 (if required)

JUNIOR ROOTS : U7/ U8 (Kids Born 2016 + 2017

Boys Practice: Wednesday’s 5pm to 6pm
Boys Games: Games 10am to 11am
Maximum Capacity - 24 Registrations per gender.

Girls Practice: Thursday’s 4.45pm to 5.45pm
Girls Games: Saturday’s 11am to 12pm
Maximum Capacity - 12 Registrations per gender.

Jerseys $50
Please note: There will be a one time $50 jersey fee, which will provide you with the green and white, jersey’s, shorts and socks. These will be reusable each season, Fall, Winter and Spring for all ROOTS programs.

NOTE All players must accept the NJYS (New Jersey Youth Soccer) registration to participate in our programs ($9.27 annual)
